We have been proud to support our Funeral Director partners for over 70 years. This has changed in nature over the decades alongside other societal changes, with the 80’s, 90’s and early 21st century bringing larger corporate funeral directors into the market place. However, we have noticed a trend of late, towards more independent funeral directors setting up and offering individual, greener and more personalised service.
We are able to support these offerings by working closely with our Funeral Director Partners, to ensure that the selection of the perfect memorial is as simple and easy as possible, and most importantly, that each family is happy with the end result. It is as important to us as it is to our partners that each person we work with, has at the end of the process a memorial that can form an important focal point for their own grieving process and that they feel it is a poignant reflection of the individual life we are celebrating with the memorial.
Monumental Masons and Lettering Artists
One of our core values here at Mindful Memorials is a belief in the importance of collaboration and the sharing of resources. As such we would love to hear from other monumental masons, stone carvers and letter cutters who are interested in our brand and what we stand for and who would like to collaborate with us in the future. We are able to offer various levels of support, depending on your situation and what you are interested in, from supplying you with wholesale memorials in granite and stone, through to supplying finished work, if desired. We would also like to hear from you if you are interested in becoming one of our suppliers on the production and installation of Mindful Memorials in your part of the country.
If becoming a Partner of ours is of interest to you, please click on the button below for more information.
War Memorials and Public monuments
We have been working with Local and Parish councils, Trusts and other public bodies for over 70 years to create beautiful and poignant war memorials and in the carving of public monuments and important signage. Working with designers, artists and craftspeople to create a unique and personalised memorial can be part of the ritual of bereavement and provide a space to think deeply about what that person meant to them and how they want to honour the legacy and story of the person they are grieving for.
If you are an Artisan who is interested in working with us to provide these unique memorials for our clients, we would love to hear from you.
If you live in Yorkshire you might also be interested in our Mason’s Yard Collaborative Artisan spaces, whether to hire a workshop space from us for your business or just to take advantage of our ‘hot benching’ space for a one off project.
These are currently available at our Rossmoor Park space, about 10 miles outside of York near Pocklington and in our Wrigglesworths branch on Walton St in Hull.
